The transition from middle school to high school can be a difficult one for students. Armed with this knowledge and our desire to do everything we can to provide support for our students, Eastern Montgomery High School works hard to help freshman become involved to ease this transition. Freshman will be encouraged to attend sporting events, academic and extracurricular events, and learn more about the different clubs offered at EMHS. Please encourage your student to try new activities, be open to new peer groups, and become connected to teachers or staff that can support and encourage them during this transition. The goal of this emphasis is to help our freshmen feel a sense belonging, community, and school pride.
