Educational Background:

I received a bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Phoenix. It was later that I discovered my love for education and decided to enroll at University of Virginia at Wise for my special education licensure. Currently, I am attending Radford University to receive my masters degree in special education with a concentration in the special education, adapted curriculum. 

Certifications:

I am a certified licensed teacher in Virginia as a special education teacher with a concentration in the general curriculum K-12.

Experience:

I started teaching at Christiansburg High School in 2018 for three years. I left Montgomery County Public Schools for one year and decided to return, because it truly is an amazing school district.

Personal Information:

I am originally from Plattsburgh, New York where I resided for the first 30 years of my life before moving to the New River Valley, due to my husband relocating for his career. I am the proud mother to three children, two boys and one girl, ages 17, 14, and 12. Lastly, I can’t forget to mention my sweet miniature goldendoodle, Barkley! 

Hobbies and Interests:

I enjoy camping with my family, fishing, traveling around the world on cruise ships, reading, and anything true crime related.
