Membership requirements:
Students need to be
academically interested in the subject areas of English, math, science, and social studies. Students must have a love of reading and trivia knowledge, as well as a willingness to memorize facts, practice as a group,
and have a competitive spirit.
Practice schedules:
All Around - Mondays after school from 3:00 to 4:30
Math - Thursdays after school from 3:00 to 4:30
Activities:
The MACC schedule includes home and
away matches against Auburn, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Floyd, Giles, Narrows, Pulaski, and Radford in the Eastern Division. These teams play each other
during the regular season and again in tournament play. The top two
teams in each area meet the top two teams in the Western Division in a
Super MACC Tournament at the end of the season.
